A Connection to Mother Earth

This kombucha is a gentle embrace for your inner self. Our low-sugar, probiotic-rich kombucha is crafted with intention, starting with a base of non-pasteurized, raw kombucha fermented with organic tea from Taiwan and raw organic sugar.

During a second fermentation, we uniquely infuse it with a blend of kiwi, helichrysum flowers, lemon, and peppermint. This is a profoundly soothing drink designed to support your wellbeing.

This blend was made to honor our Mother Earth and the healing power of green foods, which we believe supports the heart chakra. Located in the centre of your chest and associated with the colour green, this chakra governs your capacity for love and your relationship with yourself and others. Many believe green foods can help alleviate grief and emotional pain. On a physical level, green foods are packed with vital nutrients, including magnesium, calcium, potassium, folate, vitamins K and C, and chlorophyll. They are known to boost energy, manage stress, and provide our bodies with whole, balanced nutrition.

The Ingredients: Nature’s Gifts for Your Health

We selected each ingredient in this special blend for its unique benefits. Our choices were based on the green and yellow colours, healing properties, and the refreshing cooling sensation provided by the peppermint. If you have a sore throat and find that nothing else seems to help, this kombucha can offer comfort and enjoyment without any guilt.

Kiwi (Actinidia delicios): We use the whole kiwi, including the nutrient-packed skin, to infuse our kombucha. The fuzzy skin is a nutritional powerhouse, significantly boosting the fruit's benefits. Eating the whole kiwi can increase its fibre content by 50%, aiding digestion and promoting regular bowel movements. The skin is also rich in antioxidants like vitamin E and vitamin C, which support the immune system, and polyphenols that help fight inflammation. It also serves as a valuable source of folate (vitamin B9), an essential nutrient for energy production and overall well-being. We also love kiwi for its low glycemic index, making it a great choice for individuals managing blood sugar levels. It's also high in magnesium to help balance stress, and is a nutrient-dense fruit that supports digestive, immune, and metabolic health with its high levels of vitamin C and essential minerals like phosphorus, potassium, and calcium.

Lemon (Citrus limon): The lemon is mainly here to harmonize all the flavors. However, we love lemons for their high vitamin C content, folic acid, antioxidants, and minerals that help the body fight off infections.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita): Offers a refreshing, cooling effect and strong antispasmodic properties that can help alleviate digestive upset and relax smooth muscles, including those contributing to cramps. Its menthol content is also good for soothing sore throats.

Helichrysum: The Immortelle Plant With Anti-inflammatory Benefits

Known as the "everlasting plant”, Helichrysum has been used in traditional medicine worldwide. The name originates from the Greek words “helios” and “chryos,” meaning "sun" and "gold," respectively, a direct reference to its bright yellow flowers. In folk medicine, some parts of the helichrysum plant were used as teas or as "burnt offering" smoke to disinfect homes and ward off evil spirits, seeking blessings. This plant is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties and for promoting cell regeneration, which aids in healing scars and blemishes. Its flowers are a great source of minerals, omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, polyphenols, and other bioactive compounds with relevant antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant properties. Throughout the centuries, helichrysum’s flowers and leaves have been believed to treat a range of health disorders, including allergies, colds, coughs, skin inflammations and infections, as well as sleeplessness.
