Workshop Details:
Duration: Approximately 120 minutes
Location: This workshop will take place on the rooftops of Liat Towers, located at 541 Orchard Road, in the city center. Participants will be notified in advance of any location changes for specific sessions. Wayfinding details will be sent to you once the workshop is confirmed.
Minimum Participants: Please note, a minimum of 12 participants is required for the workshop to commence. Invite your friends and let's get culturing!
Important Note: This workshop is a deep dive into creating Probiotic-rich Herbal Tonics using wild fermentation techniques. You'll learn how to cultivate wild yeasts and beneficial bacteria from garden or store-bought ingredients, without any harmful additives or chemicals. This knowledge can be a culinary skill, and it's a fundamental aspect of food as a means of survival and a step towards being less reliant on a system that has no interest in you learning these vital skills. You'll discover how to create medicinal Tonics, akin to traditional ferments like Tepache and Gingerale, that are low in harmful byproducts and rich with health-promoting qualities.

Workshop Minimums & Cancellations:
Our 'Medicinal Plants in Fermentation: Wild Cultures Herbal Tonic' workshop requires a minimum of 12 participants to proceed. A decision regarding the commencement of the workshop will be made five days prior to the scheduled workshop date. If the minimum enrollment is not met, the workshop will be cancelled or rescheduled. In such an event, participants will be notified via email and WhatsApp (or Telegram). You will be offered a choice of:
- A full refund of your workshop fee, OR
- Transferring your registration to a rescheduled date or a future workshop.
Please note that The Amanita Collective is not responsible for any incidental costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation, in the event of a workshop cancellation.
Payment & Refunds:
Your payment method will be authorized upon registration. Payment will be captured once the workshop is confirmed to proceed (i.e., when minimum participant numbers are met). If the workshop is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment before payment capture, your authorization will be voided, and no charge will be made. For any refunds processed, please note that, while you will receive the full amount paid, the original credit card processing fee charged by the payment gateway is non-refundable, as per industry standards.
Note: If a product is labelled as fermented, it may contain trace amounts of ethanol due to lactic acid bacteria. Those sensitive to ethanol, pregnant, nursing, or with dietary restrictions should consult a healthcare professional before consuming. It is unpasteurized and contains live cultures that may aid digestion but might not be suitable for individuals with compromised immune systems.
