Workshop Details:

  • Duration: Approximately 120 minutes

  • Location: Our workshops are held at 33 Desker Road, in Farrer Park neighbourhood. Please note that this venue does not have lift access. Our workshop will take place on the second level of the shophouse, which is accessible only by stairs. If there are any changes to the location for specific sessions, participants will be informed in advance.

  • Minimum Participants: Please note, a minimum of 12 participants is required for the workshop to commence. Invite your friends and let's get culturing!


Important Note: 
This is a Kimchi-Kraut workshop, inspired by the flavours of traditional sauerkraut PLUS kimchi. We will not be learning the traditional, extensive methods of Korean kimchi making, but rather an accessible, home-friendly approach to achieve similar delicious flavors.

This short questionnaire helps us learn a little about your interests, experience level, and any dietary restrictions to ensure the best possible workshop experience for you.

On the Day: All necessary workshop materials will be provided, so you just need to bring clean fingernails and your wonderful presence! We look forward to fermenting with you.

 

Workshop Minimums & Cancellations: Our Kimchi-Kraut workshop requires a minimum of 12 participants to proceed. A decision regarding workshop commencement will be made 5 days prior to the scheduled workshop date. If the minimum enrollment is not met, the workshop will be cancelled or rescheduled. In such an event, participants will be notified via email and WhatsApp (or Telegram). You will be offered a choice of:

  1. A full refund of your workshop fee, OR
  2. Transferring your registration to a rescheduled date or a future workshop.

Please note that Amanita Ferment Station is not responsible for any incidental costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation, in the event of a workshop cancellation.

 

Payment & Refunds: Your payment method will be authorized upon registration. Payment will be captured once the workshop is confirmed to proceed (i.e., when minimum participant numbers are met). If the workshop is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment before payment capture, your authorization will simply be voided, and no charge will be made. For any refunds processed, please be aware that while you will receive the full amount paid, the original credit card processing fee charged by the payment gateway is non-refundable per industry standards.

 

Note: If a product is labelled as fermented, it may contain trace amounts of ethanol due to lactic acid bacteria. Those sensitive to ethanol, pregnant, nursing, or with dietary restrictions should consult a healthcare professional before consuming. It is unpasteurized and contains live cultures that may aid digestion but might not be suitable for individuals with compromised immune systems. Please consult your physician if you have any concerns.
